I have been at 3000 since 1/26. It is strange how some cars move along much faster than others.

So I hit 3800 on my Vert Friday AM... as did a few others. I've noticed most moved right into the 4000s- advising "bayed and ready to ship".... meanwhile mine, and a very few others maintain 3800... what exactly does this mean? Are they randomly selected for extensive quality tests? Is there an issue? While mine hit.3800 yesterday, another went from 3400 yesterday straight into the 4000s today! While I understand none are shipping yet, what's with the difference in progressions??

I hear you - I've been stuck at 3800 with my VIN since last Monday. If you're correct they have either driven my to Mexico to test it or are rebuilding it piece by piece.

It looks like the sequence numbers for the convertibles are mixed in with the 2011 coupes.
If you look at the database at http://camaro.spasticsquirrel.com/ you will notice the convertible sequence numbers are missing from the list. If you don't have it already, here is a link on how to decode the Camaro VIN. http://service.gm.com/dealerworld/vincards/
