Nice! Thanks.
But, CGM makes every car look different 'cause it really brings out the body lines. It might look sweet on the new Camaro - but we just dont know yet. 'Chops just can't do it justice. You have to see it in person, and on the car you want (Camaro). I can't wait. Its gonna be one TOUGH decision.

Very nice color... I still feel like you cant go off pictures like this to choose this color. The only way to tell is to at least have it on the camaro, but great pictures none the less.
This color will look great on the Camaro! |

I agree completely the traverse in this color looks dark gray and nothing more. Unless you are 6 inches from it you cant tell there is any metallic shine to it. But obviously in these pictures you can tell from a mile away what the color is suppose to look like.

What amazes me is that this color has not been painted on any Camaro yet??? When there are multiple Red Jewel ones and multiple red and silver ones...It just seems odd...

Yeah, since some of us are just taking guesses on a color on a 40 thousand dollar investment, you'd think they could slap a coat of each kind of paint on each car instead of repeats. God, even just repaint one for crissakes. I mean Shelby did that when he first made the cobra, so I think like 40 years later they have the technology :(

I think CGM looks great on the ZR1 because it's accented by the carbon fiber and blue in the badges and calipers. I just don't think it will look as good on the Camaro. IMO it will look to drab and industrial, but we'll see.

OK guys,
Tell me what you think of my thoughts here. Notice this image: Look at the passenger side compared to the hood. See how much brighter the hood is compared to the side of the car. I like the fact that CGM looks different under light, that's part of the appeal to me. But, when not in direct light it seems to diminish the body lines. What do you all think, Am I way over analyzing this???

It all that metallic flake they put in the paint. The color like flops because of the way the light reflects off the flakes, which, I think, enhances bodylines. I like what looks like a little pearl that they've put into the paint too which give off a little blue sparkle (when you get up real close you can see it).
That's just a flat-out great color. I might change my mind when it comes down to ordering mine.

NO, i don't think your over anlyzing this, you are exactly right gtahvit which is why i need to see this color on the actual car, it changes too fast with the light. and the camaro has body lines in it, but not as many as the vette. On the vette this color pops out bigtime, but idk about the camaro. If it gets too dark I'm not gonna like it, and i just as well have gotten the Black.
