It worries me that someone considering an SS does not know what one is. Its like asking, what is a GT-R, how many HP does a GT500 have, or how much is a Lambo?

it is really amazing how many folks you can fish in by "seemingly" asking a silly question. ( not to offend folks that really didn't know)

I know what the real SS is.
i built my first chevy engine (i'm sure like a lot of you) before i was old enough to have a drivers license... i bleed bowties.

oh yea... Super Sexy and Really Sexy are my favs.

It's not the only one in the series. The XLR and STS also have one.

It doesn't stand for anything. It's just Cadillac's performance division. What does GXP stand for on Pontiacs?

By the way, CTS Coupe and CTS Wagon don't make any sense whatsoever...Catera Touring Sedan Coupe...
