I know we all assume the pending z28 will have the LSA and is pretty much a finished design I'm just thinking down the road. Any thoughts?
I'm not gonna say anything but apparently I had a hunch. I doubt this is the Z28 but maybe it could be. Then what most people assume the Z28 will be might be the ZL1 hmmmm.

where are the pics of the "J leno" rear spoiler? It has a light in it and the article that unofficially announced the Z28 said that it would be a taller profile spoiler...maybe that is it?

A Godzilla killer... interesting interesting. I'm liking the style of it a bit more than the V8.

I'll believe it's the Z/28 when GM confirms it. I bet the car never sees production. The video of the sneak peek of SEMA someone posted in the other thread stated "Special Editions." I'm sure this will be one of them, GIVEN the low chance I see of this going to production. Are they trying to rip off the Taurus Sho?

I doubt this is a Z28 because of the fact that GM has "traditionally" held the big announcments and unveilings of their cars for either the Detroit or New York auto shows. The unveiling, or presentation, of a Z28 will undoubtedly be big news. I'm thinking it's a functioning design study to gather public feedback and reaction. However, I could be wrong..... jmo.

Have you forgotten about the Buick GN's or Pontiac TTA? Those were a turbo'd 3.8L, and were (and still are 20 years later) a pretty wicked combo...

I reckon a turbo'd 3.6L would be a lot easier on the upcoming CAFE requirements than another large naturally aspirated thumper...?

Right now it's a sleeper!!! so BEWARE!!! if it is v6 TT,it could have more power than expected! GM has been VERY successful with the camaro so far..I believe whatever trick they have up there sleeve will be another success, just wait!

I dunno - I have some pretty strong opinions about this design. I just don't see the benefit of GM and Leno working together. Call me narrow minded, but we really don't need a Leno Inspired Camaro. The GM Design is top-notch!

As many have stated already, these cosmetic frills they have allowed Leno to put his name on do not make me want a V6. Adding TT doesn't make me want a Leno Car. And just becasue he has his name on it doesn't make me want to go to an Auction 10 years from now and bid on a Leno Inspired TT Camaro from 2010. Not doing it for me, sorry jay - Love you GM, but you have more expertise in the Performance Division. Listen to the masses and bring it!!!

As for a Z28 conspiracy, I'll stay away from this one... But I will say, GM would never allow Leno to put his name on the Legacy name as the Z28. I'm no history buff, but name one who was a custom one-off design from concept to production and carried the Z28 name? Come on, somebody make me look stupid - I'm good with it.

Now as far as cosmetic appeal - I want that F%@$#*G Hood! I will pay a $1500 right now for that hood. But mine will be functional. Like I mentioned in the original thread for this subject. "Are those inlets functional?"

...mine will be.
