On the Mustang forums we used to call the Shaker the "Skipper". I think you can figure out why. The Shaker 500 (stock) has no subwoofer, the Shaker 1000 (option) has a subwoofer that takes up 25% of the trunk in a Mustang. That same subwoofer would take up almost all of the trunk in a Camaro.

Extended shifter paddles so you can get your fingers to reach it and use it.
A bigger nav screen in color where you punch in the address instead of paying Onstar to get the directions wrong. More headroom. Backup TV Drive lights not to be replaced with fog lights with an off option. More bracing in the car for sway bars and such. Option for less weight with fewer options. |

The Camaro has superb body styling so some compromises with outward vision will be a consequence. That's fine by me.
So as far as weight and what not, it's got 426 ponies so it's plenty fast for me. Air bags, crash ratings and increasing federal safety regs keep adding weight, that's not Chevrolet's fault. I think the Mustang is a looker as well although I much prefer the '05-'09 body style. Those new tail lights look far worse to me. The Camaro's exterior looks better in my opinion. I think the Mustang has a better looking interior than the Camaro, though.

Along with dropping a few pounds, how about an Onstar delete and rear spoiler delete for the SS?

The SS needs all season tires as standard equipment, plus a damn spare tire.
Other than that it's perfect !

Interior: love the interior door light strip and the big knobs-easy to use.
1. a grab handle for the passenger. wife would love love love this. 2. better interior lighting. one light for the whole interior? really? 3. swap volume track, phone answer buttons and track advance/mode rocker switch to the left side of the steering wheel and cruise buttons to the right side. 6MT drivers would appreciate this. 4. and for the love of all that is holy how about a sunglass bin upstairs like my Acura and all other higher end cars and some xtra bins, nooks and crannies to stow stuff like ur iPhone while your driving and Stride gum. 5 rocker switch for the seat warmers instead of the push button which always resets to off whenever the ignition is turned off. PPL with remote start would love this too when it's freezing. 6. Remote start for the manual peeps. If it ain't in neutral with the parking brake set it can't start. simple. Exterior: killah. 1. some cool LEDs for DRL's like the high end German cars. 2. make the fogs truly functional on the RS package. 3. maybe some true afterburner tailights or LED tailights. 4. maybe a mailbox delete option for the SS model. I would buy that clip for my 2LT if it were available because I do like the deeper chin. Next time around make it lighter or make sure it has 50-70 more HP across the board than the Mustang. LuisTorres10 nailed it with the American Aston Martin observation....brilliant.

1. Better sounding stock exhaust. Not that the stocker is bad, but I'd like just a little more growl/burble than the stocker offers.
2. Memory for heated seats. I'd like to have my seat warm on those cold -30 mornings. 3. Change the rear view mirror design. The OnStar add-ons are not a problem, but the shape is too round for the view. If it was shorter top to bottom, and wider side to side the driver would get a much better view out the back 4. Split level glove box. A small upper shelf would be great to keep things like registration/insurance and important notes separate. One large bin just doesn't cut it. It gets too cluttered. Otherwise I love the car as it is. These ^^ were just minor quibbles I have with the car, but in all honesty nobody is going to be satisfied with anything, no matter what we get. |

Other than not having a spare tire, it's perfect the way it is.

A few goodies I'd like in mine
These would drive up the price, but I'd like:
1) Better seats, like those in Porsches or the Lexus IS FOtherwise, I'm pretty happy with it as it is! |
