I have noticed that too, its a matter of doing it to them a couple hundred times to loosen them up.

Drivers side is fine, but the passenger seat is very hard.

I was annoyed by this problem again today...I think I've noticed that when the weather is cool, it's pretty easy to operate....as the temp goes up, it becomes a pain in the ass...

that happened to the passenger side seat it got stuck for like a month. Then it just started working. Its such a problem trying to get in the back seats! They should slide forward!

I wonder if they could do something like infiniti, where you press a button and the seats just pull forward mechanically. even though that will be extra weight.... kinda cool though...

Sorry... don't use the back seat so it's not an issue here. If I'd wanted to use the back seat I'd have bought a 4 door Charger.

I agree with TAPSHIFT on this concern. I was able to find a document that may pertain to the issues that many of you have described. I can't be 100% certain about this but the dealership should have the documentation and would be able to make the determination on whether or not it would be applicable to your vehicle. I would speak with your dealership to see if they know about or can find the document in question and make the determination for you. I hope this helps and if any of you have continuing issues or if they are unable to assist you on this front please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the great information Jeff. I do have one question, why are the cars produced after the release date on that notice still having the issue? I mean why if GM releases that note showing they know of the problem, have they not fixed it in production?
