Jeff, I've been waiting for my service manager to find time to ride with me, other than that I have not gone to Canadian customer service yet.
Thanks for updating me. Let us know when you're able to get your service manager to ride with you. I hope they are able to help you.

Had the same issue with the noise as the OP, I didnt contact my dealer (who is great BTW). I put on some new drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk ceramic pads took 2 hours in the driveway. I have not had any more problems with noise or brake dust. This was all very reasonable through R1 Concepts, alot cheaper than 3-4 or 5 trips to the dealer.

GM or the dealer can't really believe that squeaking brakes are a problem you should live with or worse yet seen as a standard.

And don't try to blame it on so called high performance category. There's not one supercar out there that you would "have to live with" that problem and the dealer wouldn't take care of it.

I've had experience with Vipers, Lambos, R8s, Porsche, Ford GTs and many others. Nary a one had a hint of that problem/

Yep. GM (not just the dealership) told me that my clutch pedal sticking to the floor and stinking during normal driving is "normal", so why wouldn't brake squeaking also be "normal"? It will be up to you to fix it yourself or buy a different car. Sad state of affairs.
