Big Dealer Markups

Starting to see some ZL1's hit the SOCal dealer showroom floors.......

And they are asking big dealer markups, looks like $8-10k markups to start.

Oh well will just have to wait till they hype fades.....

My dealership only had 1 all year. I got it for 2k over sticker. Not a lot to go around in my area.

paid 1450 under sticker (before rebate and my gm card which took another 2000 off so 3450 under sticker technically) and had it shipped in an enclosed trailer from MO to NY may be an option for you

I am really surprised there are still dealers marking up MSRP. I would have thought it would have stopped once the '13s were out.

Yeah I wouldn't pay a penny over sticker, and didn't.

500 under msrp here. They are all over ebay and lots on the lot now. No need to pay over msrp. The hype is over.

You think that is bad, check out the Shelby mark-ups. I saw more than one on cars.com for over $100K. Hell you could buy 2 Shelbys for that price. In my area alone I called dealers and they wanted $5-$25K over. I ended up buying out of stat at MSRP.

Any limited production car will get dealers marking price up.

Hell even whne the camaro came out in 2010 one of my local Chevy dealers wanted like 1500 over window for their first few SS models. Any car that gets people excited dealers will try to mark up.

One dealer I checked in SoCal is asking the same for the '13 as they did for the '12--10K over.

The dealers in my area were tagging the ZL1's with a $25K premium...and the Z06's too. I bought an SS!

I was one sucker that paid $10k over in NorCal. I've tried to forget about it now that it's sitting in my garage. It's kinda cool though Knowing that it's one of maybe 10 in NorCal (only IOM I think).

Another dealer here had a $20k mark up and sold it in 1 day.

Z06s ZR1s ZL1s anything with hype and they will try and rob you. Bastards!

If you agreed to pay 10K over sticker, not trying to be rude here, but you robbed yourself.
