Zex Nitrous Safe shot

Anyone heard of this Safe Shot "cheater" system thats made by zex. Is around $300 and it states its aROUND A 15-35 shot. Does anyone have this installed or had any thoughts of it, planning on putting it on the stock engine or putting it together once lingenfelter comes out with thier v6 supercharger, any thoughts?

It would be a nice way to cool the intake charge but the water/meth injection does a better job at it.
My advice if you're waiting on Lingenfelter is give them a call and see where they're at.

I take it the safe shot is just nitrous? (no fuel). You may want to check out nitrousoutlet.com. They have a wet system for about $450 good for up to a 50 or 75 shot with no tune. I think you have to call them to get the V6 specific unit.

Scrmng says you can use the system with CO2 for cooling if you go FI so it is still useful.

ive been reading that some people change timing or something, is that necessary?.. and about usuing CO2 if i go FI, does that mean just filling the tank with co2 instead of no2?

no timing change needed for 75 or less. Thats how I understood the CO2 thing. Maybe Scrm will chime in.

Yes, in theory they say you can run a 75 shot without a tune... HOWEVER I strongly suggest that the first time you spray you have the car on the dyno and make sure you have a good A/F! Also you will be wanted to run the highest octane gas you can find!

As for the CO2... yes, once you go FI you can get a CO2 spray bar for your intercooler and then just fill your N20 bottle with CO2...
