Have had several bikes over the years, use to ride track a lot doing road racing stuff. I quit riding street when a friend got killed while out riding, and just stayed on the track. Might get another one some day, but who knows. I ride friends bike here and there, but nothing like having your own.

I've got a 2000 Victory Sport Cruiser.
When asked "What's a Victory?" I reply "It's like a Harley...only better." That gets the HOGS really snortin'.

I call the Camaro "my 4-wheeled motorcycle" 'cause it's as much fun as my
07 VTX 1300R and my 07 Yamaha Roadliner I got 2 bikes for the price of 1 Harley. |

My husband was given a 95 mustank gt. He wisely traded it for a riding lawn mower and a sportster-in-a-box. He's been working on the harley, but still needs a few parts.

I have always loved Harley Sporsters, light, lean and quick. I currently have a 100th Anniversary Sporster 1200 Sport. It was offered with a special cam and 2 plug per cylinder heads. It's 446lbs and very quick.
My other Harley is a 100th Anniversary V-Rod 0-85 in 4.5 seconds. Modern Harleys are assembled with pride, and a pleasure to ride. One simple word of advice, learn how to stop your bike! Most new riders start off carefully, then can't resist the urge to punch it. You can get your bike up to 80 quickly.........stopping it at that speed is difficult unless you are an experienced rider. So learn how to stop before you punch it. |

Riding a 1942 WLA Army issue Harley I brought back from Sicily while in the Navy and my daily is a 99 FLSTS Springer....If your looking at upgrading later just get what you really want and save $$$ cause I've heard this time and time again and 99% regret wasting time & $ on a smaller bike................You only live once, GO for it!!!
