South Carolina

South Carolina laws are great unlike some of the other ares in the country. Heck it is legal to carry a switchblade concealed in SC, so I think with a bat you are fine.

the other day I saw a black Easton on the side of a garbage truck... they must be from Newark or East Orange!

I am no newcomer, and I really appreciate this. I would like to have a "where are they now" section for members like this. I wonder what ever happened to the owner of the Camaro with a truck full of whoop ass!

It doesn't matter if its legal or not, if a cop says your carrying a weapon you get arrested. You will be prosecuted for possession of a melee weapon and will be fined/imprisoned, good luck with your defense that bats are legal as that does not result in revenue for the courts and state.

In your case the bat is held in the context of a weapon since there will probably be no other sporting goods in your car. Keep it in a duffel bag with gloves and balls you've got a defense but not if its mounted like a gun rack.

I broke one of the Bassoon mounts in my trunk, so I took it out...I wasn't very good anyways.

Wow, what a great read! Ive always been intereted in human psychology and stuff like this is super fun to me. This has egotistic qualities written all over it. "Im going to mount a custom weapon in my trunk, so if i ever "need" it, i can elaborately reveal this weapon to dramatize the situation in my favor". Thjs type of person possibly now feels more entitled to drive faster or more aggresive because he can always assert his dominance with his custom bat if he is confronted. Really feeds the narsissism

The taser absolutely pissed me off. I was for sure ready to fight afterwards!!!!!

And I LOLed with the "won't a bat poop in your trunk" comment.
After taking the first ride during certs, I turned my head, looked at the instructor and said, Please, can I have another.......ZZZZZZZZZZZ!

I am sure all you said is true, but come on people, what manner of idiot are you if your choice of "custom weapon" is a freakin bat. A BAT!!!! I have heard of bringing a knife to a gunfight, and that is dumb, but a bat takes the cake. This guy needs to find a softball team, and quick!

What is really funny, odd, or interesting about the good ole USA is more people die of blunt force trauma than by gun shots.

So I would guess in most states its probably illegal to carry the bat versus a gun.

You can't put a Bat in the trunk. How stupid. How on earth can you throw an unconscious body in there, even when very well duct taped, if you leave a Bat in there. Hell, wake up people, it could be used against you.

Everyone knows Camaro's are the favorite choice vehicle used by Drug Dealers and Murderers!
