It takes a perfect offset for anything over 315's and you may still get some rubbing during corners or bumps. It wouldn't take a lot to clearance enough room at the upper wheel tub and then you could go all the way to 345's.

No such thing as a Perfect Offset, it all depends on the use of your offset.


I'm planning on running 285/35/20 Fronts & 315/30/20 Rears on ZL1.

I have a 2012 ZL1, I currently have Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 on the car 335 out back I have had no issues with rubbing or hitting the fender. They are mounted on factory wheels.

There is when you move up to a 12" wheel which technically is ideal for tires over 315. Then you need to move inward about 3/4" out out 1/4. Otherwise it will stick out too far or rub on the inner tub.

Stick Out: some guys like that so its not an issue....

Rub Fenders: doubt it, you'd have to be Lowered enough.
