Does this Friday evening cruise still happen at Chick-fil-A? I thought that I read somewhere that it has moved elsewhere? Thanks

So, to answer my own question, yes the cruise is still in the same location. I drove down there last night. It might have been an off night, as there didn't seem to be quite the turn out of cars as reflected in the pictures above. Definitely some nice cars and quite a bit of diversity in the styles. I guess that I'm spoiled with the small town car cruise where a section of parking lot is dedicated only to the cruise cars. I don't believe that I saw more that two 5th Gen Camaros though. A dark blue one leaving as I walked in and one other sitting along the perimeter, plus a mid-year 2nd Gen in one of the rows. I'll try to get there again before the season comes to a close.

Hey Bill - things start cooking at around 5pm or so, with the Tuners (imports) and bikes arriving at 7pm. I've seen a trailing off of muscle cars as the Tuner cars get more plentiful. Just my observation.

It was a little after 7 pm when I got there, so some of the cars could have left by then. I'll try to get there earlier the next time that I go.

Hey just noticed you are coming from Charles Town....
You ever hit that Ranson car meet and greet?...

As far as Dulles it normally the sun brings them out....
I would've come but I had some things to take care of....

I will see you out there before the season is out....

John - I've been to the Friday night cruise at the Ranson Home Depot many times. It's nice since they can block off an entire section of parking lot for the cruise cars. No minivans parked in the middle! Mostly classics, Harleys and late model muscle. There are occassionally some tuner cars, antiques, a random Ferrari or NSX.

There is still an ongoing cruise at the Cone Zone in Charles Town, with probably a larger group of modern muscle, pickups, and tuners. But I don't believe that they are able to control the parking in any way, so there are folks parking in between the cruise cars.

I hadn't been to a NOVA cruise since I moved from Herndon in 2001, which is why I wanted to visit Chick-fil-A on Friday night .... just to change it up a bit. I was part of the Mid-Atlantic Camaro Club back in the 90's and remember cruises in Fairfax and Manassas.
