Why no 0-60, 1/4 mile or lateral Gs yet???

Lately everyone is climbing all over each other regarding pricing and who has an order # first and what not.

Not sure about the rest of you I am still waiting for the rest of the performance stats to appear. The ZL1 "ring" time is impressive when compared to a lot of other performace machines out there, but I am more familiar (and I am assuming most others are as well) with good ol' acceleration and how hard it can pull in a corner. Did I miss them, and if so please direct me to where I can find the 0-60, 1/4 mile time and the lateral G capabilities of this beast.

I don't think they've been released yet. If they were, you can be assured it will be a sticky. There's a lot of speculation in various posts on this forum. We'd all like to know the rest of the performance stat numbers and the MSRP.

Yes, I have been wondering this for a while now. You can tell in their videos that they really are working hard to get the lowest possible 1/4 time they can, and to be honest, the fact that these times have not been released yet are starting to concern me.
I will be the first one to say it.....Given the sheer weight of the vehicle, and the fact that the 2012 GT500's 0-60 IS 4.0......the ZL1's will be a 3.9...and that very possibly might be why we haven't seen the numbers yet.........because they have not been REACHED YET. :(

The Zl585 did 0-60 in 3.6. I think the ZL1 will be just as quick, if not quicker.

And the Hennessey HPE 550 did 0-60 in 4.3.
I think the ZL1 will run about a 3.9

If I remember correctly the 11.5 run was done on sticky tires too.

They will release it eventually and you know that as soon as Motor Trend, Car & Driver, and Road & Track and everybody else gets ahold of a factory ZL1 there will be times for all of that tested by them.

Lateral Gs will be nice, but don't expect too much from the 0-60 & 1/4 mile.

I could have sworn I saw 0-60 in 2.9 somewhere, I think one of the videos on the Chevrolet site. I'll have to check when I get back to my desk.
