Logan,

I chose the same color scheme as you for much the same reason. SIM W/CGM Rally stripes.

IOM and SIM were my choices too!!
If I were in my 30's I would have gotten IOM. However, being in my late 40's I went to the "safer" color for my age, LOL.
I didnt want to hear, look at that old man comming out of that orange car...

Agreed ! After hitting the half-century mark I thought IOM would scream mid-life crisis and State Police magnet. The comments that SIM "disappears" in the sea of other silver cars is fine by me - the more stealth the better. Not that I'm running 20+ mph over the speed limit - just prefer to be stealthy and staking versus targeted - no disrespect to the IOM, VR, RJT and others out there.

After putting on my hood spears, trunk black-out, defenderworx stuff I've made my SIM my own and glad for it.

Got mine exactly 2 weeks ago and I LOVE it! Silver shows the lines so well. When the sun is setting the color really pops! It was next to a black Camaro and the lines died out on the black. Black definately looks great w/ stripes.
I like the silver w/ and w/o the stripe pkg. Was thinking about getting the stripe pkg but hearing about the dust collecting on them. Less dusting = a happier me!
Oh and the ones I did see w/ stripes not one was appled perfect. That would freak me out. I notice that stuff right away.

Finally got time to wash and wax it. Tried the new Turtle Wax Ice and it was the easiest wax job ever.

. Every other day I think I want to get some Rallys, but when I see how clean it looks without them I decide not to. I also thought for sure that I would get Rallys on my SIM coming to break it up from my wife having a SIM, but the closer it gets to me getting mine, the more I think I am going to leave it clean without the stripes. Although tomorrow I will say just the exact opposite and will be getting some Rallys

Also having trouble deciding if I should order som Ground FX

I'm not huge on the Ground FX so I won't go with those.

But the stripes...today was one of those days I felt like I really wanted them.

In a week when I get back from vacation and clean up my car, I'll probably like it just the way it is.

I got the dealer to paint and install GFX on my SIM. When I tell you that it looks badass! Especially the back and front. You won't be disappointed, just makes the car look meaner. I am undecided on stripes right now, car just looks so amazing without stripes right now.

I do hear that a lot about mine. The SIM is the one color that can definately get away w/o the stripes. I thought for sure that when I got my camaro that would be an absolute definate. It looks great either way.
