I want to do the l99 to ls3 conversion and will eventually get a blower. Logically, which order should i do em in ?

Cam first since the heads have to come off, blower second. Just easier and less work. Make sure that you get a good middle of the road cam that will work N/A and with a supercharger.

You're kind of in one of those positions where you should do it all at one time. If you do your conversion first with cam, even though a N/A cam will work with a blower, you won't get optimal performance as you would with a blower cam, and vice versa. I would do the blower first. If you do the cam second, you can also bang out that conversion at the same time.

Same time and save yourself doing a lot of the same disassembly twice. But if you had to split the two jobs then cam first.

amerimuscle, I'm right ahead of you, I went cam first but its not what would be defined as a blower cam. Through research and input from the members here, if i had to do it again and KNEW that I was going to get a SC, then I would have opted for a cam that would give me the 100% benefit of the blower once installed.

That being said, dont think I'm swapping cams!

With a free flowing exhaust a blower cam looks very similar to an NA cam.

Once a supercharger is installed, it can be removed from the engine for further mods VERY simply. Easier than a manifold.

I am a big fan of doing things in stages to prevent issues with troubleshooting if needed. It also increases the fun factor, imo.

Hilarious that on something that seems quite objective there are 100% conflicting reports. I literally got nothing out of the thread lol im sure you all have quite a bit of knowledge but...im still at square one?

I disagree with that. Supercharger is much bulkier, heavier, and has the intercooler coolant hoses running to it. Much easier to remove the stock manifold.
