That's a good question. If they do it would be very close. Not sure I'd want to try it.

Hi:
I have been reading various posts on forum and came across several regarding issues with changing tires and Stabilitrak/ABS system coming on. In summary I see that it is recommended that people stay within .5" plus or minus of stock tire height. I have a few questions about that:

1. Do I need to be concerned with keeping tire height +-.5" or can I go beyond that but understand that speedo will be off?

2. From what I've read you cannot deviate too far from overall tire height between front and rear tires otherwise Stabilitrak/ABS lights will come on, could difference in height between front & rear be .7" without having Stabilitrak/ABS lights will come on?

If speedo is the only thing I need to be concerned about and if I go with taller tires (all 4 being same height) I have heard that with some of the handheld programmers can re-calibrate speedo by changing tire size so I think I can correct that. Also friend of mine has HP tuner software so I'm pretty sure that can also correct speedo.

If question #2 is issue, do you think that one could recalibrate Stabilitrak/ABS system using HP tuner software?

Thanks in advance for those that respond.

Anyone have pics of them mounted on a 2010 SS?

I also wonder about the same question, as long as the 2017 1LE wheels are from a V8 SS. I also want to find out if the factory stock 2017 V8 SS wheels will fit on a 2015 SS, and can you put the rear factory stock 2017 SS wheels on the front of a 2015 for a square set up?

Hey guys have a question. I don't know anything about tires and wheels but I got the zl1 setup wheels for my v6 Camaro (20x10 front 23ofset and 20x11 rear 43ofset). removing those ugly heritage wheels. I know that the front will need 285/35/20 and the rear needs 305/35/20 but I was wondering if 305/30/20 will fit in the back as well. from 35 to 30 idk what that changes but can someone help me out ? thanks !!

*****************
The 35 versus 30 is the Aspect Ratio of the tire which in essence is the tire sidewall height.

Aspect Ratio is the ratio of the height of the tire's cross-section to its width. The two-digit number after the slash mark in a tire size is the aspect ratio. For example, in a size P215/65 R15 tire, the 65 means that the height is equal to 65% of the tire's width. The bigger the aspect ratio, the bigger the tire's sidewall will be.

So going from a 35 to a 30 means a smaller tire sidewall height. Should be fine but unless you are getting a killer deal, why not stick with the 35? I am running 315/35R/20.

I had the 285/35R20 square set up the 1LE come with changed out for 315/35R20 rear and 275/40R20 front both are 28.7 inches tall. I am loving the new set up looks great from the rear and I went with all season Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 tires and the ride is a little softer and less tire noise and they dont pick up and toss every grain of sand or large pebble at my gills also the dont trammel almost at all while the OEM goodyears were frightening on some of the badly crowned roads around here.
