is this also going to be more bulletproof such as better plunger/seals and a stronger housing? I dont have a sticking issue, i have an issue with them going out.

unfortunately no im using brand new gm cylinders and modifying them. im looking into building them entirely out of aluminum but as of right now were stuck with these plastic pieces of crap.

since we had a brand new master cylinder that didn't hold any pressure right out of the box we will be testing every single one before and after modification

IdealG,

Bro, you know my history and I am certainly interested to see where you end up with this...

I know you've been in the trans thread I'm doing... I know there are two separate issues involved, but if you can manage to flow more fluid (volume) faster (velocity) I'm most certainly interested...

I've been literally at wits end with the grind issues... though mine was 2nd and 4th at high rpm's... Over time mine progressed to pretty much any rpm in 2nd and 4th gear.... My new trans should resolves this but a better more positive dis-engagement of the clutch has got to be a benefit for all of us...

They can build one i dont know what their deal is and i was sick of waiting for them so i went off on my own to try and figure out a way to improve the original master cylinder.

The sensor isn't an issue its programable. And I think their "big thing" is they want to make an adjustable cylinder which you really dont need but even so its still doable. I really dont know what their problem is all i know is i'm sick of wating them. They do however sell the rest of the parts we need like hydaulic lines and remote bleeders if anyone needs these.

Oh I know lol, you went ape shit on your grind issues lol. But if i had the money i'd be doing exactly what you are because this grinding issue just pisses me off.

You know what really gets me though, a guy brought a 2010 camaro into me for exhaust work and his Transmission is stock and it shifts like butter doesnt even have the notchy two clicks into second, i was like wtf. Most of our problems are in the trans. There's definitely something not right inside our trannies. But like i said before i'm trying to eliminate high rpm grind and thats what i've achieved with my car. Hoping to do the same with the rest of you grinders.

Sign me up. I am very interested. My car has 1599 miles and I am right there with everyone else. The 2nd gear grind really makes me upset. IDEALG, if there is anything you need on the west coast let me know.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned it yet but what are they putting in the ZL1 or the 1LE. Didn't they do a whole bunch of hard testing with the ZL1. Wonder if its different and if it is will it bolt up?
