Foor Jack Location For Oil Change
Anybody know where to put floor jack to safely lift car to change oil? What about the cross member underneath engine?

Make a little 2x10 ramp out of two 2x10x10 pieces of wood...less than $20 and safer than a jack...

Depends on how the jack profile is..low or high. I have a high profile 4 ton and had to go in at the front left or right. I did go behind wheel well with one oil change. I did use a 1/2" piece of plywood for the cup as to not marr the under carriage.
Check the oil and maintenance section for more info.

You can do some damage by lifting in the wrong place. I jacked near the front close to the factory point but would not do it again. I have some (LONG) ramps designed to clear a C3 Vette and they worked fine. I don't like the ramps but what are ya gonna do?

I still prefer to run her up my race ramps for easy access
I use my floor jack just to change tires & such...
