Question in lowering springs

I like the look of the cars that have been lowered 1". I would like to do that with mine as well. Should I get sway bars and the springs or can I just replace the springs? Does it matter?

You can do just the springs if you want, the sway bars will give you even better handling when turning, road course racing.

Well Stated.

If you don't plan on put your car on a track, you don't need the sways but it does make a big difference in the handling characteristics of the car.

I have both Front/Rear Sway Bars and the Lowering Kit on mine, and it is so much better to drive now. The body roll is almost completely gone.

Thanks, think I will just go with the springs for now then. That way I can put money towards headers etc...

Hi cybercoaster,

Just curious, are you limiting the drop to 1" for a specific reason? Pfadt Race Engineering Drop Spring kit for the Camaro provides a 1.25" drop and really looks great! Just a thought. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
