New member with questions
I went to my local dealer today and ordered an Inferno Orange 2SS. When we were in the ordering screen on his computer, it gave no options to order an Imperial Blue car even though I read here that it will be available. Also, even though his brochure (which is exactly as the one I have seen on this site) showed the Inferno Orange accent package and the black interior package with orange stitching, it would not allow me to order the orange stitching. The only option it gave me was plain black along with titanium etc. It was either orange seats or black seats? Another question I have is the RS package basically was badging, high intensity headlamps, and body colored roof channel molding. You already get the spoiler with the SS and polished wheels are not an option once you get the RS package. $1200 is alot for just those items. Am I missing something? I was really at the mercy of the dealer and his computer. It's nice to know what you can get but frustrating that the order program won't let you get it. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Here's the short answers to your questions:
Imperial Blue - will be available on the SS but it's not in the system yet. Check back after Thanksgiving. Seats - It's either black (or titanium or beige) or the orange accent package, there is no option for black with orange stitching. RS Package - Yes, you are correct about the details for the SS (except you forgot the darker RS tailights) but you'll get midnight silver painted wheels instead of the sterling silver. Polished wheels will be available with the RS package - but wait for the system to update with the option for blue paint. |

I guess I will go back and add the RS package. At least the dealer put it in writing that I would not pay over MSRP + fees. My $1000 deposit is non refundable though. Thanks.

+fees could be market adjusment, undercoating, paint sealant, or anything they want to add to the price.

The manager wrote plus normal fees and taxes on my paperwork. I guess normal fees could be almost anything. I will refuse at the time of delivery to pay for things such as paint sealant and any other bogus add-ons.
