It should be obvious that the Z/28 has been in the works for a LONG time, that is the only way you can explain that the 2010 camaro shop manual lists the 7.0L.

The track that the Z/28 performed 3 seconds faster than the ZL1 was GM's test track in Milford.

That makes it hard to guess as well... Milford is a GM owned proving ground so its not like 458's and GT-R's have been out there. However the ZR1 was good there and it's been good most everywhere else so that might be some good news. a medium track like this is more of what I was expecting not something massive like the Ring

Not true my friend a 458 HAS been to the Proving Grounds remeber this:

I would bet money that the 458 in that video was taken around that track a few times after the famous words where uttered "I wonder how fast this thing really is". besides where do you think they go when the benchmark GM cars against the competition.

Okay so we know it's been there for a commercial but do we have any laptimes of Milford? I have searched and I couldn't dig up a list Without knowing that it still doesn't help us much

And like I said before the 458 is actually fairly slower than most people think, its not even my main concern as a comparison car

I'd take a Ferrari 458 anytime anyday... but I'm dreamin... for mere mortals with a good paying job/career, a Z/28 is just fine & dandy.

Yes I'ved done derivatives or variances of that formula...
1 AMG or 1 M = 1 45th + 1 Boss... + eventually 1 Stingray or 1 Z/28
So a 458 or a 911 Turbo resides only in my dreams...

GTR THE FASTEST CAR you have ever seen from a standing stop
NO QUESTION!!
And after Nissan does their new z car watch out Price will be lower than most.
This thing is turbo'd up to the max.
So lets not go there comparing super-cars to lets face it muscle cars.

And furthermore what about the new 4 cylinder Corvette. Its going to shake that motor a little going down the highway from the design.
Get your Vette Now!!!
LT1 is it that good?
What 4 cylinder corvette?

370z is terrible track car, brakes go away after two laps. GT-R massive overheating problems after a few laps, turns into a rolling chicane. Starts dumping fuel/goes super-rich to save the engine, transmission overheats, go do some homework to find out what an ATF fluid change costs on a GT-R. Facts from track experience. Your track day is over when your car is broken.
