My 2017 was ordered with PDR but I have never used it since buying the car in 2019.

Don't use GMA if you want accurate information on anything that is and is not currently available. UQT wasn't even a constraint when this article came out.

If you bothered to actually read the article it states that the PDR will be constrained in the future.
"Due to current production constraints, the PDR system (RPO code UQT) is soon be unavailable to order with the 2022 Chevy Camaro. It’s understood GM will prioritize any stock it does have access to for orders that have already been processed and sold by dealers. "

No Problem. It happens. I've done the same things many times. Just read the first line or two and then replied with the wrong response.

It then goes on to say "the PDR system (RPO code UQT) is soon be unavailable to order with the 2022 Chevy Camaro."...horrible grammar aside, first off, if it literally says in the first sentence that something is currently unavailable, then you can't blame a person for thinking that it is "currently unavailable" and nobody should have to read thru an entire article to find an ambiguous second message that is horribly written that might suggest otherwise. Either the dang thing is "currently unavailable" or it "is soon be unavailable", whatever the heck that means. So if anyone should be criticized it should be the writer, the proof reader (if there was one),and the publisher. Because if you say it is currently unavailable, then later in the story say the exact opposite, which is it? |

It is a fun option. I've recorded 40-60 minutes of driving and then watched it. It's cool. Plus it might be of use in a vehicle accident. |

Well the PDR clearly showed me stop, my speed at 0 and the brake pedal completely pushed. Then in the tape you can hear BOOM from them hitting me and my car lunging forward (while I was till full on the brake) tapping the person in front of me. PDR told the truth otherwise it was my word against theirs. ALWAYS use it if you have it. Get a 64gb or 128gb card. You will get like 2800 minutes of recording with a 128gb if I remember. My 22 is coming with PDR and I intend to use it as a dash cam. |

plenty of oem pdrs on ebay for 150 or less. I guess the trick would be the software next.

There are different part #s for the PDR module and other parts over the years. I've spent less than $1300 so far.
