Black Camaro issues?

Main color I want my Camaro in is in black, but I've heard some things about black cars, and my parents aren't too keen on getting it black because of other driver's visibility at night and during certain parts of the day. So apart from that, what are the issues with black cars?

It will need washing more than any other color; about twice a week if you want to keep it looking nice (depending on your driving conditions, of course.)

That color makes you stare at it too much.

Color has almost nothing to do with night driving. The Halos, HiDs and day time running lights will make you very visible at night.

If you can't get black, CGM is wicked.

Yeah, CGM is the second color ive been looking at. not really into all the flamboyant colors, but in my opinion, black looks the sickest (although the most common). CGM still hasn't won me over, id have to look at it in person, but in pic it still looks pretty sick

Idk about black Camaros but my Rally Yellow LT attracts so many bugs, it's really annoying.

Black Camaros make the girls flock to it too much. Get you a blue one and you wont have that problem.

every single hairline scratch is highly visible. However, I got a black car, and I just love it. Oh also really hot during the summer =)

Any tips into convincing my parents to letting me get the black one? they said, and I quote: "If we're going to get you this car, we're going to do everything we can into making it as safe as possible." I told them you'd have to be blind to not see a car, black or pink, at any part during the day. They just dont listen. Help.

It's a 3800 pound new Camaro which, depending on what you get, may have those bright-azz halogens. It would take some doing to not see it. I've had the black one for a year now and there's certainly been no problems with people seeing me. Heh.

Just get a really loud exhaust so they can at least hear you.
