PM patrickt@gmpartsdirect....I think they go for around $55 each. I know...I just ordered them and then sent them over to Pam...can't wait to get them. I have some Oem SS headrests for sale! Lol

Pima, if you don't have the part number, look up at Post #767 and you will find the part munber for the black leather ones. just go to your nearest Chevy dealer and buy them, or use GM Parts Direct or any other GM Parts house. its just that simple.

There's some great ideas here at C5.....I knocked out 2 mods yesterday that I found on here. Got the headrests done locally and while I was waiting on them I went ahead and dyed the stitching.

The headrests is one of the best mods someone that has a LT/RS can do, CONGRATS..... its something that GM should have done at the factory, thats for sure.

Paitance. They will stretch back over, just have to work them. Slowly and pull. Once they are back over, (the easy part is done,) I found getting the clips to lock in place was the tougher part. One side was no issue, the other I fought with for a few minutes.

Here are a few photos I took while taking them apart to help me get the clips back on correctly. Hope this helps.

Yea... The second pic I got to that point but I can't get the last piece to clip in because the other piece won't allow it to lock in.

Place the top flat piece onto the bottom and push down and under the white plastic lip.
In the last couple of pics they guys thumb is on the flat upper piece.

The idea is to use the edge of the flat upper piece to push the other one under and then they just hook.

Well this works for me most of the time...

Will they only do the ss/rs logos or will they do anything you can digitize. I want the 1LE on mine. I ordered the blank ones from gmpartsdirect

Found a neat trick to slipping the covers back on. Wrap part of a clean plastic grocery bag around the foam. The bag allows the cover to just slip right on.
