Building a 2014 Camaro

Hi all,

Im in the process of building something (different) its an acquired taste but its my taste. Im looking to find out where i can find Z/28 brakes and I'm also looking to buy the complete bodykit excluding the duck tail. i have found duraflex aftermarket kits but I'm aiming to find an original off a wrecked (flood damaged) Z.

if anyone could help me that already owns a Z and knows how to order genuine parts that would be greatly appreciated.

The body kit that you are looking for is available on Ebay Motors, and is fairly priced. The wheel arches and rocker panels are sold as a kit, with the chin splitter selling separately. The brakes and rotors are also available as a kit or separate (rotors/calipers). Rarely have the cars been parted out from what I have seen.

Thanks mate!

is the eBay body kit exactly like the z/28 or is it a cheap knock off? as i don't really wanna buy a kit that ill have issues with as such don't care if its not genuine but want it to look amazing when I'm done.

Im on my phone, but here is the item number. OEM parts. 231927588708. That is just the rockers and wheel arches. Youll need the splitter and spoiler.

You can get all the parts in carbon. I think it's Anderson composites that sells them.

For the money you'll spend, my guess is you'll close on the costs of one of the higher priced Z28's out there...have you thought about seeing if actually owning a real Z isn't the better option?

That plus the shipping cost to Australia is ridiculous! We shipped out a set of rockers, diffuser, spoiler, spliter, etc and the shipping cost was in the thousands.

Perhaps if the OP is inclined to do so, he can post more details on what his plans are and we might be able to give him better advice.

We understand wanting to do something unique, we get that as well as anybody. Here a link to our build thread if you haven't seen it.

Unfortunately here in Australia we only have 1 z/28 for sale and its $165kAUD ($125kUSD) so i picked myself up a bargain 2014 Camaro that i plan on building up! going to do things differently and wouldn't really want to chop up an original Z/28 anyway!

That's crazily expensive!!! So what are some of your plans for your build?

i have a few different ideas running around at the moment! I've been looking at replicating a z/28 but with air ride stage 3 air suspension and running a trans am style 5L but LS. i have just found a wide body i really like but need a front splitter and rear diffuser to suit if i go that way. i want something different with lots of carbon
