Whatever you do, if you stop anywhere for anything, make sure that there is nothing visible in your vehicle. There are folks that come up from South Houston and troll feeder roads looking for smash and grabs.

Yeah, it's no big deal on the weekends. Enjoy Galveston

That shortcut is a piece of cake coming South, but can be a little tricky finding the right exit going North.
