6th gen headlights on a 5th gen

This pic appeared on IG a few days ago. I know its fake but... it looks badass. I wonder if anyone has given any thought to actually making this work and if it's even possible. I'd be a buyer if it could work.

Lots of things are possible with some fabrication skills.
I swapped a 5th gen Camaro nose to an el camino in 2009' & then a 6th gen in 2016. See flicker link. I didn't have the factory 5th gen lights to compare to the 2016's, but I'd call it possible to someone with fab skills.
gen5diy.com on this forum had the best price on new lights with pigtails for connection.
Bumper cover likely will need trimming to recontour to the newer light's more angular shape & of course something will need to be done with grille. Not sure what will be involved for fitting & bracketing in the new lights.
I originally thought of doing a combo of 6th gen lighting & aftermarket 5th gen bumper.
I did twin auxiliary lights also. The 3 running lights per side are pretty damn bright.
I say its possible, but someone has to man up & be first to try. I can't be the only wierd person with skills.

That's an aftermarket bumper, not OEM fitment.
