Anyone know if this is workable?

I have a set of '69 SS hood louvers and I want to do this....

Anyone know if thats feasable?

If you have the steady hand for it, you should be able to mask and cut the correct holes and then find a way to Fasten or seal the louvers into the cutout spaces. It wouldn't be too difficult if the louvers have a bit of a lip or flange around the perimeter of the louver. Then you cut the inside Diameter of the lip/flange and just set the louvers in place. The tricky part might be fastening/sealing them in place. I'd consider an adhesive maybe?

Post pics of the louvers, that would give us a better idea.
