Gforce Engineering 2010 Camaro race axles just about ready for testing

That's right guys. You've probably heard about our race axles being used in the GTO's and were just finishing up design work on our new race axles for the new Camaro.
We'll be using our innovative 300m billet bolt together inner stubs, 300m axles and heavy duty cv joints.
Why a bolt together stub you ask?
With a bolt together stub, you can replace just the stub part for around $150. if it were ever to break or twist, but since there has never been a Gforce stub broken we don’t see that as a problem.
Another nice feature about the bolt together stub is the fact that it is modular. It will work with future up-grades still in development such as a 35 spline spool that would require a 35 spline axle stub. With our bolt together stub, you just swap the stub ends out for the larger stubs and your good to go.

We'll have our first set out for testing in a few weeks.
I'll throw some pics and comments up when we get to that point.

Thanks
Chris @ Gforce

Are these going to be around 800 bucks like the GTO?

http://shop.gforce1320.com/product.s...4&categoryId=3

If so.... going to be a popular product.

Or even better is the pricing on the CTS-V parts. ($550 for those not trolling their site.) If this stuff works as good as it looks. I am very excited to see these come out.

I spoke with Chris yesterday and he is very close for these to be available but is currently in the hospital with Leukemia so hoping for a speedy recovery as he is going to be very busy when these are available. These definitely seem to be the most reasonably priced kits out there.

Hi guys,

Yes, who would think this could happen to me.. The day I made this thread I went to the doctor to see about some strange issues I was having and the same day I'm in the hospital with Leukemia.
I'm expected to make a good recovery and everything has gone excellent so far.
I wont get out of the hospital until first week of January so this will for sure delay the release of the axles since I do all the design work.
I completed the design for the Pontiac G8 and only had to tweak it for the Camaro.
I was supposed to get a set of OEM Camaro half shafts shipped to me to verify the differences but that fell through.
Would anyone have an extra set I could take a look at? I just need to look at the lengths, inner and outer stubs.
If I cant find a set I just might have to go by me a new Camaro

These wont be priced like the $800. GTO half shafts because the GTO half shafts are just that, half shafts. The GTO uses separate inner and outer stubs and you can put the half shafts only in if you want.
The inner stubs are $799. for our bolt together and $899. for out one piece stubs.
Outer stubs are $699.
The Camaro uses a stub to stub assembly that includes an inner stub, half shaft and outer stub. My stub to stub assemblies will be priced to compete with what is on the market now.
I will add that our axles and stubs are made from 300m, the strongest material available for making axles.

Thanks
Chris @ Gforce Engineering

I'm doing great guys, thanks for asking
I have about another week left in the hospital and then I can get back to doing what I love to do, designing kick ass parts!

Thanks
Chris
