I would talk to a local shop who is familiar with that sub and experienced with the associated Thiele/Small parameters. The 12" requires huge volume (2.66) for the natural sound curve (.707 Qtc), but you can build a box as small as 1.25 cu ft without dramatically adversely affecting it (.857 Qts). The same is indicated in their manual, but the manual will not tell you things like the resonate box frequency and 3dB down points vs box size and options.

Qts Vb fs f3
0.707 2.66 44.60 44.60
0.750 2.05 47.31 44.76
0.800 1.59 50.46 45.27
0.825 1.43 52.04 45.64
0.850 1.29 53.62 46.07
0.875 1.17 55.19 46.56

Google box building or similar, it requires patience and a bit of math and trig....or call a reputable local builder and/or buy a 1.25 cu ft box.
