After having mine for 2 months I have a rear seal oil leak. Apparently it's pretty popular in chevy cars... You'd think they would do something about it by now.

Mine does this too... but then again I have no idea how it is supposed to opperate because after 5 weeks the dealer has yet to get me my owners manual!!!

well i'm sure it's operating as it was designed to operate... but it's a crappy design, and somebody should have lost their job over it.

hmmmmmmm... maybe it should have been delivered with the car?

if the dealer has several Camaro's on the lot, then there is no excuse for you not having your owner's manual. there is VITAL information in there... stuff that could be held against you if you do something improperly.

#11 - the radio display would not keep the proper date. it would always be off by a few days, every couple months. Time is OK, had car 9 months.

GM quality is spotty. We had 3 Solstices. Two were perfect, and the other was a total lemon. Everything went wrong or fell off of it. 25 warranty visits, an average of one every 3 weeks. Finally, I gave up and traded it off. If they can't get yours fixed once and for all, you might want to do the same thing. It will keep you from going homicidal.

#3 - black plastic/rubber exterior window molding around the small triangle window on the driver's side was peeling up on its own. they glued it back down.

I had a inch piece on the passenger side molding come off, when i was washing it.

#4 - loose spoiler. had two nuts rolling around in my trunk lid. took 3 different visits to have this issue corrected.

Same issue.

Alignment was messed up off the lot, had to pay to fix alignment, 60 bucks

Have had the spoiler bolt problem twice until my husband put lock tite on himself
Have had tires road tested for vibration at higher speeds sterring wheel shake-rebalanced tires at 8300
Had new transmission at 8500 miles noise in first and second
Had passenger side tie-rod end replaced at 8300
Had rear end fluid changed and they claimed posi clutches adjusted at about 10500 same noise you had
my ac fan whistles at the two highest speeds but I'm not willing to let them tear my dash apart for that I just turn up the radio
My USB sometimes looses connection with my IPOD but they have told me there is nothing wrong with the car
my front red SS emblem paint peeled got replaced at 9000
I have clunking in front struts when going over bumpy roads again they tell me it's normal

That's my list.

WOW Im sorry to hear of such a long list of problems Ive had my 2SS RS for 11 months and have 7000 miles with no problems. My wife has a V6 and the only problem she had was loose spoiler nuts which I replaced with loc nuts and she has 6500 miles on hers.
