Unhappy Scratched Rim!!!! :(

So I just got my car on Friday and already scratched the Rim. I was being so careful too! But I live in a very hard place to drive a car like this, the hills of Los Angeles! So many steep hills and potholes and high high curbs. And on top of that they are doing construciton next door and pulling out is a bitch with all of their cars blocking me. So anyways I was pulling into my steep car port which I mastered for this car (no bottoming out yet... hopefully) but because of the truck on my street it forced me to pull in at a strange angle and I didnt feel it or hear a noise but when I washed my car a few hours later I saw the dreaded scratch on the rim! SO i guess i scratched it on the corner wall to my garage, but its strange cuz none of my car got scratched. Anyways none of you probably care, just wanted to share because this car means so much to all of us and I hope it doesnt happen to you! It hurts your pride! But I am going to get it fixed tomorrow when I get my windows tinted and my gfx kit painted the same color as the rest of my car. Take a look at my baby wheel before the incident in the mean time. All the best

Same here, except I had strange curb rash.

I don't see the damage on your wheel.

Sorry bud, hope they get fixed. I'd love to buy those style rims in the future. I think they look absolutely sick on a Black Camaro.

Send the wheel off to Wheels of America and for a small price (around $130) they will fix it good as new...I've used them in the past and they do excellent work (of course you will have to do without your wheel for about a week)...or you can buy another wheel from Chevrolet, still send the damaged wheel off to get fixed and then keep it as a spare...because you'll never know when you'll do it again. I have a spare for Bullitt wheel for my Mustang (just in case).

Yea I've heard of wheels of america, I will look into that thanks. I am going to get my car tinted and GFX painted potentially today and the place where Im doing that apprently does a good wheel job too so Ill ask them as well....On another note Amanc96, I would not get rid of these wheels, they are beautiful, and beauty sometimes is painful, but damn is it worth it. these wheels are a huge part of this car looking so damn amazing.

This is my question. I also have an abrasion on the passenger side of my 2LT RS from getting too close to a curb. I have nothad an opportunity to get it to the dealer but the question is ... does the tire and wheel protection package cover this? I do have it but what does it mean? Do you know if it means that they can be repaired or replaced with either a no cost or at least a deductable type cost? Any feedback is appreciated from those in the know.

from what i understand is they will cover any road damage as long as it is't normal wear on the tires. And I didn't see anything about a deductable.
