So did anybody change brake fluid and if so did you drain all of the old out while the lines were off or did you put everything on and than bleed the old fluid out?

I did. They used a pump to take the old out and then bled in with the new.

New brake line kits seems to come with them.

You can also buy them at the dealer. I think they are $1.25 a piece MSRP.

Hi there,
Just curious if there's someone interested in buying a full kit of Brembos (calipers+rotors) used for 22k miles. The rotors are Brembo Performance drilled (last two pics) with only 8k on them, don't know the part #.So, to be clear the rotors what you'll get are drilled and shown in the last two pictures.I have the calipers painted yellow ,but they'll need to be repainted because they are dirty. The first image is since I installed them, now they look , let's say not that clean anymore.
I bought these new and installed them on my V6 and they work PERFECT, no rebuild necessary, just bolt them on and enjoy.
PM me if interested.
Thanks

Ok, after cutting the shield in the back for the SS rotors to fit instead of replacing it with the SS shield do you get a lot more brake dust on your wheels after the upgrade that you have noticed?

Yes, unfortunately you will get a bit more brake dust because of cutting the shields.

According to the ZL1 brake upgrade kit instructions (I have a copy) it's a 1.5 hour job to install the rear brembo brakes and replace the dust shields with the SS ones.

Basically you have to remove the e brake on both sides, change the shields then reinstall the e brakes. Some on here have said you have to pull the axles. According the the GM instructions you do not.

What they said. Its a lot of work to change two dust shields. You don't have to pull the axles but you do have to remove the rear hubs.
