Double din questions.

hey guys about to be in the market for a double din radio. gonna go with scosche kit but now i am thinking about what radio. id like to go pioneer but it all depends on these things. for the Bluetooth do they use the factory mic or do i have to use theirs? i am going for as clean as possible. and will the steering wheel controls work? tried searching and the second question is pretty much answered but i want to be sure. thanks in advance

I have the Scosche kit with a pioneer AVIC-Z130BT radio installed. The radio comes with a small mic. From what I have read you can not use the factory mic or no one has tried it. I have mine right next to the rear view mirror and it not very noticeable.
With the Scosche kit if it the 1st version the radio controls will not work. The 2 second version is working for me.

Pioneer did a nice job of upgrading the NAV this year too
They switched from Tele Atlas to Navteq this year.
That has been the bigest knock on Pioneet over the years was the NAV.
