I think you went a little over the top...I thought the movie was good. Not great, but far from horrible. And the best car in that movie is the never dying Charger

I thought it was a GT2 or GT3 too, but later I saw the rear end and it was a boxter with a body kit and a spoiler.

That body kit almost made me ashamed of having that porsche. i saw it the first time in the movie and wanted to puke.... its a car that looks beautiful enough on its own and shouldnt be touched (appearance wise).... on the other hand i got goose bumps from the trans am at the end of the movie. so it evened out

Well, I saw the movie two days ago and still... I like it!
I didn't expect any decent story nor acting, as I saw all the previous installments so I went in practically only for the cars (OK, maybe a bit of chicks aswell ) and became very positively surprised. Lots of muscle, which is great: from new Mustang (fugly bodykit though) through Ford Grand Torino to Chevelle SS (I'm slowly falling in love with supercharger mounted in frond of windshield) and Camaro F-Bomb (OK, actually copy of it made for the movie, but still). Lots of WIN in the car sector here I was a bit dissapointed on the girls-end. To put it politely, it made Jordana Brewster actually look good.

SLOW and SEDATE
I can't wait for SLOW and SEDATE to come out.
Dueling Prius's, Fusion Hybrids, Jetta TDI's, and whatever eco-car Hollywierd can muster up. This should be the greatest Silent action film since "Birth of A Nation!" "Hey that thing runnin' 110 or 220?" "How Many Amps?" "I dunno, goes like heck though!" "I can beat most delivery cyclist down Main Street."

I especially like how all the cars kept up with the STI in the dirt. Maybe the Baja prepped truck but that would be it.
It's entertainment, in no way meant to be beliveable. |
