HEAD room Coupe v Convert v Sunroof

OK, So I have owned 2 coupes, they have ok head room, I tried to sit in a sunroof car and my head hits the roof, so had to pass on the Sunroof, :(

thinking I would like a new Covert, and of course with top down I have lots of head room, but what about when the top is up, any one KNOW?

I know go to my local Chevy store and sit in one, Yes I can but just asking here.

I don't know the height difference, but I'm 6'2 and I've never had a problem.

WOW how tall are your because I haven't had any issues with my head hitting the roof.
I'm 6'2" and I have the factory Sunroof and no issue at all with the roof height.

It depends on your torso height. My brother and i are both 6'2". I could fit in a sunroof car if i had to, but he could not. No way at all.

I have an SS Coupe with a sunroof.....I am 6 feet tall and have plenty of head room. I guess it is more the height of your torso than it is of your overall height that really makes a difference.

I own a 2010 coupe and a 2011 convertible. Honestly, the convertible seems like it has more head room. I also didn't like the sunroof hardtops.

SS Coupe with sunroof, 6' 1" and it would tickle my hair. I removed the plastic spacer above the headliner (upside down ice cube tray) just outboard of the sunroof opening to improve headroom. This can be done without removing the headliner through the sunroof opening.

With the seat reclined to maximize headroom it was difficult to reach the top of the steering wheel with the tilt all the way down so I added spacers to lower the steering column. This improved comfort a lot but decreased visibility of the gages.

I have a convertible and it seems to have more headroom than the coupe. Assuming they have the same roofline (which it may or may not) the covertible should have more room. In a coupe there are some pretty thick roof bows, insulation, headliner, head impact material, and roof rail air bags all crammed up there. That all takes up quite a bit of space. On the convertible there are just some thin roof bows and two layers of fabric.
