FrankTs Ultimate Performance single turbo Camaro SS 602whp/613wtq

Well guys, we have finished up another beautiful build. Frank dropped off his Camaro SS a little while ago for us to install our single turbo kit. We added a few more things onto the build along the way.

First of all I would like to send a big Thanks out to Fidanza. They provided us with a great brand new Twin Disc 7.6 Clutch. This thing will hold anything you throw at it. We installed it (pictures below) and it is Great! It has the pedal feel of just a little harder than stock and is very easy to drive. If anyone is in the market for a great clutch rated at 900ft pounds of torque then give us a call.

Next we move onto the Hurst short throw shifter. This thing really makes the throw much much shorter. With just a flick of the wrist, you can now fly through all the gears..... if you can keep the tires from spinning.

Big Thanks to J and J Performance for tuning this car with EFI Live! The car was brought to us with EFI live and SLP exhaust on it, so the baseline is really good.
With our turbo kit on it and right over 9 PSI, the car made between 600-610 whp and 613-623 wtq all day. We are at record setting high temps here in Florida so we he brings the car back up to NC, he is going to redyno it and easily put down better numbers. The graph I posted was not the highest of the day. It also got a little rich up top, I will grab the better graph tomorrow. (grabbed the wrong one, must have been the 110F degree shop I was in)

We threw in an HKS EVC6 electronic boost controller as well plus a few other things like a Kenne Bell boost a pump and some other small things.

Please give us a call if you have any questions and check out all the pictures and dyno graph below. We also have a dyno video and possibly on Monday, when Frank picks up the car, we can do some more street driving videos.

Thanks for all the support and again, if you need anything, please call or PM me.

Yeah, we are going to try to get Frank to drive around a little on Monday so we can record some street footage.

We need a really good video here soon with all these beautiful cars.

I'll be flying to FL on Monday to pick this up and spend a little time there before I head back. I have a 3" exhaust ordered and intend on redynoing this after I have it installed. Also, if I can find the time, we have an eighth mile and quarter mile strips close to me... should make for interesting videos!

9psi? Is that what you are going to run on a stock car for your standard turbo kit?

That seems a little high to me.

Actually, our kits come with a .4 or .6 bar WG spring. These cars have a 6-7 psi wastegate setting and the numbers were made on an electronic boost controller.

With a proper tune, we will see that these engines will hold a power for a long time. Give me a call if you have any questions.

Well, made it back in one piece! Lets see... 730 miles, averaged 70.3 MPH, and got 26.4 MPG, ZERO tickets! Got home in about 11 hours.
