I think A Z/28 may come near the end of this generation, possibly 2014 or 2015 as the ZL1 should have its run. If they do a Z/28 I doubt it will have an LS7 as the cost of the engine is double that of the LS3. That being said, without a suitable engine, unless they beef up a NA LS3 I would assume that there is a possibility that we may not see the Z28 until 2016. Therefore gen 5 may not get a z28 and everyone holding out may miss the boat. I personally love the gen 5 so I bought it. If a Z28 comes out I'll consider trading it in, I may or may not be interested in a Gen 6 Camaro regardless of the Z28 option if it does not look as good as this generation. Just my two cents.

Sorry I had a 396 big block Camaro and a 396 big block Chevelle that did not have smog pumps. So the big blocks did not have smog pumps till the 70s.
