GTAHVIT, at 550hp how's your traction issues, my goal is to still have something still "street able" from what I've heard 500-600 at the wheels is still manageable much over that and hooking up becomes a issue.
Obviously.... ... not very good... as I got beat at the fest...

Oh oh... not what you mean....

on a roll, I can get mine lose at will by just stomping the loud pedal in 1st, 2nd, and the bottom half of 3rd... In the top half of 3rd I'm going fast enough that it will normally hookup with a little chirp.

Now when it's cold or wet... 4th gear gets to be pretty tricky... Merging on to the freeway when it's wet is an exercise in throttle control. The Pedders gear really helps, make the car more predictable and recoverable but the power sneaks up on us as you well know.

From a dig, I have to launch at 1800 ish and roll on to the gas. I can't mash it to the firewall, even at 2k, it will toast the rears.... and I usually have to short shift 2nd or go to redline and lift a little on the gas to keep planted. Going to 3rd I can power shift and she's pretty planted.

I can probably do a rolling burn out at 40 max MAYBE.... so doing one at 100 is just not really something I understand....

As I'm typing this, my car is going on a lift for the install of my Drive Shaft shop nine Inch Kit... We are also going to be upgrading and doing some mods to the trans...

Hopefully within a week or so we will be able to launch it, though there won't be any tracks open... But when they do... I'll be ready to see what she can do... finally...

As she was, 100+ mph burnouts were easy...
Track will be open the 28th and 30th. Im waiting on my bogarts and Im gonna try and hit some 9.50's if the weather cleans up. This soup sucks. Ill check you out if your done by then. Goodluck!

Thank you sir... It's been fun, and there are a lot of cars much more extensively done... But I think she'll run pretty good when we finish everything...

Hop is fine, headed out the door in a few minutes to chase down some paperwork and stuff so I can report to worrk on the 2nd of Jan... The rig should be throwing out anchors tomorrow, Saturday in Mexico... I leave tomorrow morning to go down to Cuidad Del Carmen in the Bay of Campeche to take a class required by Pemex, and then will fly into New Orleans on Monday and go to the Mexican Consulate Tuesday, and fly home Tuesday eve...
