Hi Guys, I am new to this form. I am going to go get my new 68 Camaro this weekend. It has a 305 in it. It will need some work but cant wait to see it finished. I got a really good deal I think. What would something like this go for with all the extra parts? I will show pictures of the progress.

Congrats - I would say a smoking deal with a clean title would be anything near $5K
If you payed as much as $10K with all those parts it still can be a great deal.
There is a lot of body repair and assembly that is needed .

IMHO: First Gen value is about the numbers if you go restomod or protour you can spend a ton of $ on it.

Thank you for your post. What do you think I would be into it just to get it looking nice street drivable with primer and what would the value be worth? would I be upside down in it?

we could use some more details/ info on the car?

First off you need to check out a few things on this car, since I noticed that it has a big block heater core and multi leaf rear springs, SS gas cap on floor (part of SS options ??) still would have to check engine mounts, fuel line dia., exh hangers, etc, etc
-does the car have a 10 or 12 bolt rearend?
-front drum or disc brakes? ( I don't see a proportioning valve?) if disc, should be 4 piston
- does it have a factory tach in dash?
- condition of both floors and trunk pan? (repair, full replacement,etc)

the more info and pics the better to help "value" the car

are you thinking of selling it as is or may sound that you are considering a build, then sell

ditch the 305 (verify that it is first) has no resale value and screams "budget car"
