I'm surprised they didn't I include some sort of venting on the inside of the grill (the inner lip outside of the headlights) as some sort of air-channel. Nothing big, just a slim path for the air to flow through. |

Not sure my ignorance says do something to the front end but the zl1 has the same front end (with alot more venting). to add to your last comment I was reading about the ls7 and it's woes not sure if I went deep enough in that rabbit hole or not but from what i gathered so far (as of a couple weeks ago) the ls7 engine problems were solved and were fine with turbo now but that seemed to be an opinion deal but I think it's sorta like the issue some of the 1le people are having with their transmissions some just are further from spec than others but hell idk just know that I don't see myself investing in turbo either way till after 30k miles

Stock LS3 Crankshaft
Shouldn't you use a forged crankshaft since you got it all apart? Seems to me it should be upgraded also! Since the motor is apart!

New crank needs prep and possibly not available for weeks. Then there are those pesky shipping delays that plague these builds. As long as you are willing to live within a reasonable max power, that stock crank should be just fine. Who knows what that will be? Cha Ching! |
