But if it comes in sooner they will surely call me ASAP. But according to the Cutter guy I spoke about last week, there should be a car coming in sometime next week. Maybe all the Servco cars will be on the same shipment. On a side note, I didn't know it only takes about 3 days for a ship to reach Hawaii once it leaves the west coast. That's what the guy at Servco told me. I thought it would take a lot longer than that.
I'm not convinced that it takes 3 days to reach Hawaii from west coast, but could be wrong. I do know it takes a few days to disembark all cargo off the transports once it hits Hawaii, so add a few days as well as the dealerships inspection and stuff before they can sell the car. I wish there was a way to track the car once it gets tagged with a vin number. That would have been helpful.

Kinda sad that some dealerships have camaros on thier lots for sale and we are still waiting for our pre-orders. Haole is lucky!

Anyways, did anyone make it to the car show on saturday? They had Jr's 88Nascar there. I think it was a fundraiser to try to get a race track built here on Oahu, or something like that. It was in the fridays newspaper.

Apparently there is a black on black V6 roaming around Maui, Jim Falk sold it last week. It was a showroom car that was only on sale for 7hrs before being sold.

If anyone can find out who it is have them post here.

Ok I hear from my friend that it's some older woman who's driving around the V6 on Maui, a 1LT from what he described. I doubt she knew the car was even out until she stumbled on the sales floor.

i'm petty sure the people at servco windward are getting a little irritated because they have 3 cars coming in, and we keep bombarding them with "when will it be here" questions at least once a week. has anybody heard anything lately? i might call tomorrow to see if they have an update.

I've been calling about every third day and leaving a voice message for Tommy Chun. He is not returning my calls and even left calls at the front desk and still havent gotten a response. He is usually punctual, but now wondering if he is still working there. Its been over a month with no callbacks. With the cutbacks, he might have gotten fired. Hope not...

I have a race up north, so I will probably try to pop by and see what is going on on saturday. I figure if I am at Windward Servco, it would be hard to try to ignore me...

Well that answers my question why he isnt returning any of my calls or emails. I wished he would have told me and that would have limited alot of fustration.

Any chance you have Pam Wongs phone number? Easier for me to call than drive down from Hawaii Kai. Im down there maybe twice a year.

Hopefully all will be coming in soon.

4800 is bayed with the carrier. it's the same code i'm at, and i'm pretty sure jon is there, too. i've been trying to find out what carrier and where it's bayed. i can't figure out if it's at the rail yards, on the docks, or on some trucking companies lot. i called servco today and i was told they have no idea where the cars are, but i heard pam in the background say "sometime in july".
