Kirk,

I drove by looking for you yesterday, but didn't look like anyone was around. Left mine in the driveway yesterday, one of our friends came over and pointed out a nice door ding on the passenger side....bummer!

Looks like another nice day today...I'll have to take the Camaro out again.

Kirk,
I'm still in Yuma, AZ at my Mom's. Had Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Nothing like Mom's cooking!!! I haven't been to the track yet, it's 2 1/2 hours away from here and some of the AZ F body Association members have told me that test n tune nights are so crowded that you will be lucky to get in 2 runs. They invited me to come to the track on the 5th for club day, they have a lane reserved. They made me an honorary member so I can go with their club. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'm so afraid of breaking a rear end, half shaft or driveline. So I'll go pretty easy to begin with.
Don

Ordered a 2LT A6 RS, CGM with black hockey stripes, black interior, and sun roof, and now I'm in the longest week in history as I wait for it to arrive I'm sure many of you can relate. The only one more anxious than me is my wife... she can't wait for me to get it so I shut up about it

Anyway, just thought I would introduce myself and again wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. If you happen to see such a vehicle going back and forth across 120th, that'll likely be me!
Hey Neighbor,
I guess I'll see you up on 120th. I'm off of 120 near Holly. I have had my CGM 2SS/RS for about a month now but haven't had much chance to drive it yet. If you think the weeks after your build day are long........ the day I brought mine home it snowed for two days. That was after leaving it at the dealer for two weeks to have the stripes done. So if you see a CGM w/IOM stripes around town, that'll be me.

Yes Tom, it was considered. I didn't say it was a problem, just a concern.
When parts break, they will be replaced with better ones that will handle the power. Just don't know how the stock parts will hold up, but I will find out so the rest of you guys will know before you mod your cars.
The guys that are concerned about keeping a warranty can keep their cars stock. Me, I don't care about a factory warranty. If a part breaks, the last thing I want is for a warranty to replace it with the same part that already broke. It will just break again. I want to replace the parts with BETTER parts if they break. If they don't break, then I'll
know they are good enough. Why replace things for the horsepower if they might already be fine from the factory.

Ouch... That sucks! And with only 500 miles on it. Don't tell my wife, she won't let me take mine to hockey anymore.

She has nothing to worry about...I'm fairly certain the ding happened in my very own garage. Since Zach is laid up with crutches, I don't have the heart to ask him about it...

oh...and it has over 530 miles on it now

Sucks big time that GM knows there is a very good chance this will fail yet won't replace it until it does. I know Al said they made the correction in August so it shouldn't be such a burden to replace the ones out there if people were concerned. I like you love to exercise the throttle,so let the ones that do have it replaced. At least yours dumped already and you were lucky it was out on the road.
Hey Tom,

Went for a ride with "RS-2SS" in Albuquerque, NM this weekend in his Yellow LPE650. OMG that car was crazy. Get this, his wife has an IOM one at Lingenfelter being transformed right now! Now I really can't make up my mind. Both went with the 1000 HP axles.

Ouch! Glad I have two boys. Nah, congrats......hopefully he's a good one.

Anyways, had the car 10 days and a little under 2000 miles and loving it. Decided a short throw is a must, exhaust is a must, intake and tune coming soon. Look pretty mods will be coming too.

My oldest boy(13) decided to open the passenger door into one of our wood rails at home. Scared him to death. He loves the car as much as I do. Once I checked it out and didn't find any scratches or dents, he calmed down. That was a close one.

WOW!

I've had mine for like 3 months, and just passed 500 miles. Mostly to the paint shop and the dealer and back. Hopefully the next trip is for a SC and exhaust .

I drive alot just for fun. I put 30K on my truck last year and 10K on my Caddy. Now I get to rack up the miles on the Camaro.

Mav

P.S. Wish I was driving to put on a SC!

Dan, how is your boy's knee? Will he make it back this season?

No real update. He was back at the Ortho yesterday...he has improved, but cannot put any weight on the leg or walk. They ordered an MRI which will hopefully be done later this week, just waiting on the call. It's likely a broken growth plate, the MRI will verify for sure.

If so, it is likely he will be walking/skating again in January. When he can play again will be another question. Time will tell....

Camaro news...my CRUSSH plates are in...I'm going to try to pick them up today!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. I still think "JAGUARS" would heave looked better on your plates. LOL I'll keep you posted on how Bryce does this weekend in Steamboat.
