How in the world have I not seen you in town then???????????????? although I have to admit I haven't been doing much speed enforcement lately.......I practically "live" on Bay Rd north of the North Gate of the base. BTW....I am DPD......so if some cop rolls up on ya and gives you a wave or horn blast don't panic, its probably me.

Work and home and Jonathons Landing are about the only places I go around Dover. You will see the wifey more than me driving it so I will give her fair warning to be on the look out for ya lol.

The Wheels and Wine show is this Saturday Aug 18th at the Pizzadili Winery in Felton....unfortunately I am working....as usual.
This should be a good show for some good pics if they let the cars have access.

The Firestone show is on Sept 21st... We still could use sponsors and or donations for door prizes.
Tim, maybe you could ask that paint coating guy if he would like to set up a booth and join us?

I still have not heard anything on a South Jersey show. Their president hasn't accessed his Camaro5 account since 06/13.... I would say that they are not going to be holding their annual show this year. If I am wrong, I will let you all know.

I am going to start looking at dates in Oct and Nov for meetups.....If you have anything in mind as far as locations to go....post up. I would like to make one of them a trip toward the Kent Island area to meetup with some guys from there for crabs!!!!!!!!!
I would like to suggest Joe's Crab Shack by the Riverfront for a meetup that parking lot is HUGE plus the food is pretty good as well.

Hey everyone ... I want to go for a final push on promotion for the detailing and Opti-Coat treatment through Johnathan Clark at Reflections Auto Detailing. He would like to close it out on August 30th so that we know what price bracket we are going to be in (See page 52 on this forum for pricing). There have only been a total of 5 that committed thus far. All he is asking for is a commitment by the 30th. If you need to push your treatment date to September or beyond, John will certainly work with you on that. Feel free to pass this on to other clubs and regions if you don't mind driving to Dover, DE to have this done ...

I got mine done yesterday and all I can say is WOW! The combination of the paint prep, compounding, buffing etc ... and the application of the Opti-Coat on the paint and wheel faces is nothing short of awesome!

So please get back with me if you are interested or call John direct at (302) 734-1451. Make sure you tell him you are with the 1st State Camaro5 group so that you can get the proper price.

Unfortunately, the rain didn't agree with my wishes...... down here they had a shower early in the morning and the rest of the day was overcast so they were able to get the show in as planned.

Opticoat is a great product, but I would save the money for a clear bra. Opticoat will not prevent rock chips, scratches, etc. It just adds another very thin layer of clearcoat to the paint.

About the comment on not having to wax the car again...yeah you can do that...but there will inevitably be scratches on the car...and the only way to get rid of the scratches is to polish and seal it.

Ideally, you should get Opticoat and a clearbra. But if I had to choose one, it would be a clear bra. Not trying to derail you guys or Reflections detail...just want to give some unbiased opinion.
