I used the duplicolor engine enamel because that's the only one I found in the store I went the have the chevy red-orange.... then just the regular clear coat same brand....

Great job on the painting. Here is one link I used to take apart my steering wheel when I swapped out the wheel for one from ACE Custom Steering Wheels.

I have posted this before but here are some of my other work.... engine cover, fuse cover, my CAI intake and the two tone rims.... all I did my self in 3 days.

this thread is exactly what I found that encourage me to take apart my steering wheel... but then again I'm a mechanic/electrician that's why I know a little about turning wrenches.. nice instructions by the way
