Affordable mesh-style wheels?
Does anyone know of an affordable mesh-style wheel that will fit on the SS? I'm looking to go 20X8.5 or 9 on the front and 20X10 or 10.5 on the rear. I really like the XXR 521's but they don't fit on the rear because of the breaks and I don't want to use a spacer or anything. I like the TSW Doningtons too but for right now I just want something to throw on the car to set it off a bit. I would really appreciate if you guys could give me some suggestions. Thanks!

Search for HYP's TSW Snetterton's. He's been running them on his SS for a while now even though TSW says they won't fit. Regardless of price I like them better than anything else I've seen anywhere. They're the perfect size too - 22" in 8.5 and 10.5 widths.
Funny story though.....I called TSW in December to try to get the inside scoop, and when I finally got through to somebody, they guy said official company policy was the Snetterton won't fit. But he told me he had seen pix of a guy running them on a camaro. I gave him my email and he sent me a link to the thread where HYP was showing his off !!! I might take the chance on these when stock tires wear out. I still haven't found anything else of interest in any other style at any price. |

Haha that is pretty funny...small world I guess. Cool thanks for the suggestion! Except I just realized I forgot to say that I'm looking to do 20X8.5 or 20X9 front and 20X10 or 10.5 rear

My cheapest mesh wheel is the Forgestar "F14" 1-piece flow formed wheel. Forgestar is owned by iForged, so they are well known. The problem with Forgestar is supply, it seems they never have any available for me to sell.
www.forgestar.com I have three or four sets of brushed titanium 20s on order, maybe a month or so out from now. The Pro Wheels Formula is my lowest priced FORGED wheel brand. www.prowheels.net Tony

Hey nine ball. Can you pm me a price on how much the forgestar's are and how much they weigh? What are your thoughts on flow formed wheels?
