I had the same problem with my new wheels. I don't know if mine were rubbing, but they were very close, so close that I couldn't tell by looking. I didn't see any wear though, but anyway, I installed 5mm spacers...they are .19"....so very thin, but just enough to push the wheels away from the bottom of the shock cup. I got mine from the place I bought the wheels from, but here's an ebay link for them:

Depending on how close yours are, you may need an even thicker spacer...maybe 8mm or so...do a little bit of measuring...try to determine exactly what you need to clear.

Your problem is that your front new tires are too tall. 265/35R22 is 29.30" tall (stock is 28.66"). I've got 275/40R20's up front on mine on 20x9 stock wheels and it's nearly as close as your pictures show.

Looks like you have two options - switch to shorter/closer to stock height tires or try spacers.

Hey thanks for the responses, are the spacers dangerous?

depends how thick the spacers are.

there is a thread started by blue70ss about changing the lug nuts to silverado pickup truck studs to get more threads for the lug nuts. do that if you go with a spacer.

On a 22x9 wheel with that 265/35R22 tire, you can't comfortably run anything over a +30 offset. Anytime we have a customer who requests a wheel with a +35 or something like that, we will build custom spacers and actually attach them to the wheel. We machine them to 5mm and make them an exact hubcentric fit so it's basically an extension of the wheel. You don't want to go anything over 5mm on the spacer or you shorten your threads too much and don't get a good bite with the lug nut.

Im thinking of switching the tire instead of playing the spacer game, do u think a 255/30/22 would solve my problem?

Thanks

A 255/30/22 would be just a hair over 28" tall. If that doesn't prevent the tire from rubbing, then I don't know what else to suggest. Just keep in mind that some people have had ABS and Stabilitrack errors thrown if the front/rear tire height difference exceeds more than about 1/2".
