The bottom line
The car was running a 2.50" and a 8.66" combo with the LSA 1.9 when we originally built it.
It now has a 9.15" and the original Heartbeat 2.85" putting it at 21,000 rpm at 6600 as compared to 22,862 rpm for the 1.9 liter blower. The other thing is the pressure drop on this car is 1lb now from beginning(being the highest boost) to the end. The 1.9 was 2 psi pressure drop from the beginning to the end. Also the IAT 2 after the intercooler was 30 degrees cooler at the end of the run than that of the 1.9. Remember we are not putting out the heat due to the lower blower speed but we do have 2 more PSI that is a direct result of the intercoolers having less pressure drop across the cores. So there are the results guys.....It works to upgrade! |

Nice clean install, great numbers too. I would expect nothing less from Andy. I'm going in for an upgrade very soon.
