Nobody that I know showed up at the El Cajon car show. I saw a few 5gens cruising the street. There were three sweet 69 Camaros. A 69 hugger orange for sale. Overall a good show & crowd. Lets do the muscle car date on July 3rd.

Armando, isn't this show limited to a certain year of car? I thought you had to be pre 1972 or something. My 5th Gen has transitioned from show car to track car so it has some dings.

That's true. Its pre 1978 only. Kevin and I took the Camaros a few weeks ago and got warnings on our windows not to park there. I won't leave my Camaro in a parking lit around there.

You are right most of the time its limited to pre 72 cars but I thought when they say muscle cars they mean the new generation cars. I will try to find out to see if we are welcome. Last night the spot we parked at last year was pretty much empty. Rules, rules rules.

All of the parking spaces are 'reserved' for pre '72 cars. There are a couple guys who walk the street and leave notices. They didn't take to kindly to our 5 Gen's. sucks to be them.

Well let me know what you come up with. If there is a time when we would be welcome I would go. I was a muscle car owner LONG before I bought the Camaro.

Lars I will try too make it, all depending on the wife. I haven't talk to her about it because she has been out of town. Hopefully I can get a kitchen pass.

Can you take it up to Miramar and use their lift or are you looking to do it in a driveway?

That was the plan. David and I were going to do that, but he going on "vacation" soon so his weekends are all booked-up for a long time.

Haha! Every month I remove people who I don't chat with on Facebook. I've thought about deleting it all together (i dont trust it) but most of the people on there are family and many of them dont live in this country. Plus at the time I had taken a break from C5 and removed most of C5 friends. Still talk to a few of them on here though. No hard feelings. You don't have to help. I don't take it personally.

If anyone is willing and able to lend a hand...cool. I admit I'm likely at the very bottom of being savvy about this stuff. I was stoked I replaced my own grille! haha!

Also...working on a cruise for mid-August since David is going on "vacation" for a while. Will keep you posted.

It was when Kevin Epps and I spoiled The Walking Dead for you.

When would you want to do the install?
